The Chicago Bears finished with an 8-8 record last season and missed the NFL playoffs by the length of a hair on Chris Conte’s stupid fat head. So, that makes them a pretty average team in the grand scheme of things. But what if we determined how good a team is by something other than wins and losses? For example, what if we made it about how much a team’s real dollar value is?
Good news. If we go by the money, then the Chicago Bears are one of the best teams in the league.

According to an article by Mike Ozanian in Forbes magazine, the team is worth a total of $1.70 billion, which makes them the 8th most valuable franchise in the NFL. In 2013 the Bears brought in over $300 million in revenue, so there’s no excuse not to go out and splurge on a real secondary.
Coming in at the top of the list were the Dallas Cowboys ($3.2 billion), the New England Patriots ($2.6 billion), and the Washington Redskins ($2.4 billion.)
