John McClain of the Houston Chronicle also shared news regarding the situation today:
Don’t see Clowney at practice, not surprising since he left early yesterday.

For the Texans and their fans, there is obviously going to be cause to concern. Some of these hits can end up putting a player on the IR long-term, or they may just need to take a few days off.
So far, the situation doesn’t sound too serious, and the Texans are just trying to play this situation safe for now. But we can only hope Clowney returns to the field soon enough, with full health.
