If you’ve ever been to Lambeau Field you know that the Green Bay Packers have some of the loudest, most enthusiastic and drunkest fans in the NFL. But every fanbase seems loud and excited on their home field – at least at the start of a game.
How do Packers fans rate compared to other NFL fans? According to a study by Forbes magazine, they’re the very best in the league:
“According to research by Nielsen Scarborough, only 16 percent of adults living in Green Bay, Wisconsin, are NOT fans of the team. That means everybody else in the metro area has either watched, attended and/or listened to the Packers’ games in the past year.”

ESPN says this is how they calculated the rankings:
“The Forbes rankings were based on the hometown crowd reach, social media reach based on the area’s population and three years’ worth of Nielsen television ratings, stadium capacity percentage and merchandise sales via NFLShop.com.”
It doesn’t hurt when there are no other sports teams around, but congratulations are in order anyway.
