PHOTO: Minnesota Vikings rookie Teddy Bridgewater has officially arrived

Last night Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater played in his third NFL game, and he was solid once again.

Facing the Kansas City Chiefs on the road, Bridgewater was very sharp in limited action, completing four of seven passes and throwing for two touchdowns. His passer rating for the evening was over 113.

Even though Matt Cassel got the majority of the snaps and appears to be Mike Zimmer’s choice to start for the Vikings Week 1, the hype surrounding the rookie is steadily growing in momentum. Bridgewater was a bit shaky in his first outing but has looked better and better in each appearance since.

Playing quarterback well is all fine and good, but you haven’t really arrived in the NFL until people start making memes out of you and give you a nickname.

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce Teddy Throwsevelt:

Spectacular. Welcome to the NFL, rookie.
