If you listened to last night’s Sunday Night Football broadcast on NBC you probably heard Chris Collinsworth say on a number of occasions that this is the hardest time of the year for NFL coaches. He wasn’t referring to injuries or the preseason schedule; he was talking about roster cuts.
By 4:00 eastern time tomorrow each NFL team must cut their rosters from 90 players down to 75, but today the Jacksonville Jaguars got a head start and announced 11 cuts from the team.
Then a short while ago the Jags announced three more players have been shed:

Running back Terrance Cobb and wide receiver Lamaar Thomas were waived, and cornerback Deion Belue was put on injured reserve.
The Jags have until Saturday afternoon to get the roster down to 53.
