Robert Turbin and Bobby Wagner have a disagreement over scrimmage touchdown

This week middle linebacker Bobby Wagner returned to practice for the Seattle Seahawks and we all breathed a collective sigh of relief. Wagner is unquestionably one of the most ferocious and underrated players at his position in the NFL and next to Earl Thomas is the most important piece on Seattle’s defense.

Wagner hurt his hamstring on a play during a scrimmage in which he brought down running back Robert Turbin just shy of the goal line… or did he?

The two players got into a Twitter scuffle last night over what exactly happened on the play. Turbin says that he remembered scoring a touchdown and that Steven Hauschka kicked an extra point. Wagner says he stopped him short of the goal line:

So what actually happened? The official team account linked to a video of the play but it turned out to be a press conference by Pete Carroll instead.

Come on ‘Hawks, you’re better than that. The world needs to know!
