Just less than twenty-four hours ago, I had posted Twitter Tuesday on the lack of progress made in free agency the Dallas Cowboys had made.
In one fell swoop, they charged in and have signed two players who can help the team immediately. And there is one that is still in progress at the time of this writing.

First of all, you have already heard that the Cowboys have signed another running back. Alfred Morris comes in to backup Darren McFadden, who came in last year as a big signee. Will Dallas finally have the two-headed monster of a running game? Or will one falter and become the feature back, while the other become a footnote in free agency history?
Dallas also signed Cedric Thorton away from the Philadelphia Eagles. The ‘boys are bringing back Rolando McClain, James Hanna, Charles Brown, and Josh Thomas. Benson Mayowa also joins the Dallas Cowboys on the defensive side of the ball, coming in from the Oakland Raiders, bolstering a unit that needs some changes after the 4-12 season.
Dallas are in negotiations with Patrick Robinson of the San Diego Chargers. At the time, nothing has occurred in the way of progress in bringing in the defensive back.
There has also been talk of helping beleaguered free agent quarterback, Johnny Manziel off of the field, before even considering making an attempt to go after his services.
So in a nutshell, the Jones’ have been busy!! How things shape up for the next few days, only time will tell. Stay here and keep up with those Jones’ and the Dallas Cowboys, here at cover32.com/cowboys.
