The Bengals were back in the top ten of Elliot Harrison’s NFL power rankings this week
Cincinnati went up five places to number nine in the power rankings. The Bengals had a dominant defensive victory against the Dolphins last Thursday and regained the power ranking spot that they started the year with.
Cincinnati has been hovering in the top ten of the power rankings all year. Their losses to the Broncos and Steelers were close games that they could of won. It will be interesting to see how the Bengals play against the Dallas Cowboys who are currently ranked in the eighth spot.
The up and down 3-1 Steelers ranked the highest of an AFC North team at seventh this week. The Steelers rebounded from their awful display against the Philadelphia Eagles by blowing out the Chiefs 43-14 on Sunday night. The Steelers have been as high as number four in the power rankings but fell to seven after their loss to the Eagles.
The Ravens fell to 14th after their one point loss to the Oakland Raiders. Baltimore is currently 3-1 and is tied with the Steeler for the division lead. The Ravens have wins against the Browns, Bills, Jaguars. All of their wins were within one score for a combined total of 13 points. There is a ton of questions about this Ravens team and though their record is better than the Bengals, I think the Bengals are a better team.
The Browns are at the bottom of the AFC North and ranked the lowest of all the NFL at 32nd. The Browns I think are better than the Bears but Chicago got a win last week against the Detroit Lions.
