Joe Callahan promoted to Packers active roster

Joe Callahan, having returned to Green Bay after bouncing around the league in the early season has been promoted to the Packers active roster for this upcoming game against the Bears.

While Brett Hundley is officially the backup for Aaron Rodgers, with the winter conditions the Packers aren’t taking any chances at the quarterback position. If something does happen to Aaron Rodgers, it wouldn’t be surprising if we saw McCarthy cycle between Hundley and Callahan similar to the way the Browns initially cycled between Kessler and Hogan in the early Bengals game this season.
