Even the President of the US joined the increasingly emotional and divisive back-and-forth about former San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick this past week after an article was written about how NFL owners might be black-balling him because of his protest. And while it may be reductionistic to say the only reason Kap has not been signed is because of his QB skills, many of the bleeding hearts who are screaming bloody murder about a double standard toward Kap are hypocrites and here’s why:

Progressives and liberals don’t like when a private business (the NFL) has an alleged double-standard about Colin Kaepernick, but they have themselves institutionalized a racial double standard in private schools (Ivy League admissions) for decades.
Sara Harberson, a former Ivy League admissions dean, acknowledged that highly qualified Asian-American college applicants may be rejected from elite schools because of their race.
Yes, it is fairly well known that Ivy League institutions are considered ivory towers of liberal ideology and progressivism. So why is it, then, that they have manualized discriminatory admissions practices towards Asians for decades and there is no national outcry from the same people raging about things not being fair for Kap? These are hundreds of thousands of a specific race that are subjugated to a double standard that could affect their life, but everyone is up in arms about a single back-up QB who has made millions of dollars but can’t get another contract? Please.
Liberals are quick to decry racism and point out the opinion that Kaepernick is being black-balled because he is black, yet liberals have double-standards in being highly protective of racism against some minorities but participating heartily in being racist toward others.
On Real Time with Bill Maher last week, the host set up and very accurately pointed out how the progressive audience might groan or disapprove about his stereotypical jokes about Irish immigrants but then laugh heartily at sterotypical jokes about Asians, and unfortunately this is par for the course in liberal Hollywood.
Hollywood is known for being a stronghold of liberalism and have recently made efforts to improve their image on including more diversity, yet they still couldn’t help themselves at the Oscars in 2016 when they repeatedly made offensive stereotypical jokes about Asian people.
In the LA Times, sports journalist Bill Plaschke went as far as specifically saying that American sports media has a double standard in terms of racism towards Asians versus blacks in the context of racial backlash when Jeremy Lin rose to prominence.
The way Bill Maher described it was that liberals treat some minorities like an endangered species while turning a blind eye or, as is the case in Hollywood or elite Ivy League institutions, participate in racism toward others. For those that don’t know, this is hypocrisy.
Liberals are outraged that NFL owners are upset with Kap’s right to exercise free speech through protest, but they burned Berkeley to prevent Milo from speaking, displaying striking hypocrisy that is also evident in this video:
Look, as a minority in this country, I have experienced racism and know we have a long way to go in terms of race relations and in no way am I comparing the minority experience of Asians to those of blacks because that is not the issue.
The issue is that altruism is also known as a mature neurotic defense that allows us to feel better about ourselves, and while liberals are rushing to defend the actions of Kap and demand fair treatment for him and some minorities, liberals also harbor racist, exclusionary feelings and behaviors toward others. Hypocrisy is as hypocrisy does.
