The purpose of “Ladies Redskins Pulpit” is to give our female fans a “pulpit”, voice to express their opinions about the organization, team, players, coaches, transactions, games, and events. Half of Redskins Nation is made up of Lady Redskins.
At the Pulpit is Angie Anderson Ugaz
“I’ve been a Washington fan my whole life. I was raised that way and my Dad wouldn’t have it any other way. It didn’t take long for me to love the Redskins, I remember our glory years vividly and hope they return soon.”
“Some of my favorite memories are at my Mom and Dad’s house on Sunday eating some good food and watching our Redskins play, Some other fond memories are the games I attended. The most fun of course are games against Dallas, the Giants, and the Eagles, Even if we lost it was so much fun to just be there watching my team in person and in action. My favorite players include Sean Taylor, John Riggins, Darrell Green and Art Monk.
Hail to the Redskins”

The next speaker at the Pulpit is Deborah Carico who is one of our many “Tarheel Redskins” from North Carolina.
“Hey yall, I’m Deborah and I am in many Redskins groups on Facebook. I have always been an avid Washington fan and love burgundy and gold. My dad pulled for the “Cowtwats” so the Redskins vs Cowboys rivalry is special to me.”
“My favorite players are Joe Theisman, Darrell Green, Art Monk, and Sean Taylor. Favorite coach was Joe Gibbs and I saw all four Superbowls. I love going to the annual NFL Draft. Only been to one game live and that was so amazing. I want our quarterback Kirk Cousins locked into a good long term deal and for our 2017 defense to be much improved so we can get back into the playoffs as NFC East Division champs. HTTR”
Thank you Angie and Deborah. Remember in this day and age, the lady fans know as much as the men do about the game of football and our Washington Redskins. I will be posting comments from their Pulpit until August, pre-season games.
