2017 NFL Draft: Cleveland Brown draft Myles Garrett first overall

With the first pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Brown select Myles Garrett, Defensive end out of Texas A&M.

No surprise here, it has been rumored for months Garrett would be the pick. Although, some experts said they may take a quarterback with the pick.

Garrett looked to be the safest pick in the draft and is a natural fit with the Browns. Even has Warren Sapp went as far as calling him, “Lazy”.

Overall, the Browns went the safe route after a 1-15 season a year ago.A

According to NFL.com, he compares to nine-time Pro Bowler, Julius Peppers.

Garrett, to a surprise of nobody, has impressive measurables at the NFL combine:

40-yard dash – 4.64 seconds

Bench press – 33 reps

Vertical jump – 41.0 inches

Broad jump – 128.0 inches
