The Green Bay Packers drafted former Wisconsin outside linebacker, Vince Biegel, with the 108th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Sources have told both ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Rob Demovsky, that Biegel underwent foot surgery a week ago.

The surgery was to repair a Jones fracture, the same injury he suffered as a Badger last season. The injury forced him to miss two games a season ago.

Injuries are starting to pile up on the young linebacker, at last weekend’s minicamp he left the field with a left-hand injury. Although, that appears to be much less significant.

The Green Bay Packers have hopes that Biegel will be able to return by the start of training camp on July 27; however, that is now in serious jeopardy.

Green had high hopes that Biegel could be a contributor right away, while still possible, injuries could impact those hopes.
