Buy, trade, draft for Titans Taylor now

I’ve mentioned how Taywan Taylor has been doing extremely well. Several reporters have tweeted something along these lines.

Taylor started out as a not so good wide receiver, frankly. He was a third-round wide receiver during a draft where wide receivers were ranked quite highly and were quite plentiful.

Jason Wolf quoted Titans general manager Jon Robinson as saying that he was bored, so he traded up for Taylor….something along those lines. A far cry from the “we just had to have him” typical GM quote.

Next, he had an impressive rookie minicamp which Corey Davis didn’t wholly participate in.

Then came Greg Cosell comparing him to Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham Jr on PK’s 1045 show.

Cosell’s words stirred the pot and both fantasy folks and NFL fans started to notice and tweet out info on Taylor from college.

In May, Jim Wyatt wrote how Taylor is making an impression upon his teammates.

PFF chimes in in June

And now ESPN stat guru (with a PFF upbringing because that’s a fun phrase) Mike Clay interviews Wyatt on Sirius Fantasy Sports Radio.

Clay tweets that Wyatt stated that Taylor has been the star of the offseason and could receive more targets than Davis. Davis was the fifth pick in the draft and the top wide receiver in the 2017 NFL draft. That’s no small statement by Wyatt.

As the interview continued, Clay tweeted this:

According to MyFantasyLeague data, Taylor is going in the fourth round of rookie drafts and the 22nd round of redraft drafts. That’s about to change. This great press about Taylor will shoot him up draft boards quickly.

Get Taylor now!

I’m quite fond of the people mentioned as raving about Taylor. My personal feelings aside, they truly are as good a group of NFL experts as any. If you won’t listen to Clay and Cosell and PK and Wyatt….then I’d probably like to play against you in a league. (winky smiley face)

The Clay-Wyatt interview is available on Sirius on Demand if you’d like to listen.
