This afternoon at Eagles training camp teammates and fans received a swift reminder that injuries can happen to anyone at any time in the form of new receiver Alshon Jeffery, who was going up against Patrick Robinson in a 1-on-1 drill and went down hard on his shoulder.

After a moment it was clear that the injury wasn’t too serious, and though he sat out of the full 11-on-11 team practice he did get back in for the 7-on-7 and continued to make catches for the Eagles.

Jeffery reassured the press and fans after camp that he was still feeling good.

Last year Jeffery hauled in 52 catches for 821 yards and 2 touchdowns for Chicago, and Philadelphia is looking for him to continue to shine with sophomore quarterback Carson Wentz.
