Heading into training camp, there was a lot of enthusiasm with the team. The team looks stronger and look ready to go. Now Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone may have to reconsider if the team is really ready after Blake Bortles threw five interceptions in a practice, and one of them returned for a touchdown.
The Jaguars fanbase and organization are all hoping that Bortles can get out of the slump that he has been in the last three years. Was this just a bad practice for Bortles or is it a preview for the upcoming season?

Bortles is already under tons of pressure. Yes, his fifth-year option was picked up by the Jaguars but he is still very close to being let go. Bortles has been known for turning the ball over since coming into the league. He has the same amount wins as he does interceptions that have been returned for a touchdown.
Is it time for Doug Marrone to start worrying?
Marrone needs to keep the thought in the back of his head that Bortles could cost them games if he can’t bring down the turnovers. It’s still early in training camp to start panicking, but Week 1 is coming fast. If Bortles can’t get on track, maybe we could see him starting out as the backup if Marrone doesn’t have the confidence in him.
I don’t think Chad Henne will be the starter heading into Week but if Bortles can’t impress both Doug Marrone and Tom Coughlin before the start of the season, don’t be shocked if their is quarterback battle in Jacksonville.
