With Von Miller well in his prime of his career, the Broncos could see their best defensive player have a major breakout year in 2017. Miller has already made an impact on the league since joining the Broncos in 2011 as the number two pick in the 2011 draft. He’s the kind of player that offensive coordinators worry about.
He has been the most productive player on the Broncos defense and plays his hardest every game he is in. Now at 28 years old, this season could be his best one yet.
Fantasy Focus: 5 steps to making the right trade this fantasy season
We most likely see much of Miller in the preseason, but I believe he is ready to dominate. He’s a force to be reckon with on the edge and he brings it all which is why he is so successful. He’s only had one season where he didn’t have ten plus sacks in a single season.
Even though this Broncos defense isn’t what it was like in 2015, as long as they have Miller in a Broncos uniform, offenses’ should always be a little worried because Miller is coming and he isn’t showing signs of stopping.
Will this season be his best one of his career?
This may be a bold prediction, but I seriously believe we could see Miller have the best season of his career this upcoming season. While the Broncos overall may struggle at times, it’s hard to say the same thing about Miller. The most sacks he has recorded in a season is 18.5 and I think he can break that.
Season Prediction: 74 tackles, 21.5 sacks and four forced fumbles.
