The Dallas Cowboys are set to face off against the Denver Broncos on Sunday; both teams are coming off of a win in their week one matchups.

As we all know, the Cowboys defeated the Giants 19-3, and the Broncos defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 24-21. Their third year quarterback, Trevor Siemian, surprisingly led the Broncos to victory rather than their stout defense.

Siemian went 17-28, for 219 yards and 2 throwing touchdowns against Denver; he also rushed for a touchdown and showcased some impressive moves on his way to the end zone.

Matchups To Watch

For Siemian to post good numbers against the Cowboys like the ones he put up against LA, he’s going to need to stand upright all game. Right tackle, Menelik Watson struggled pass blocking on Monday night, and if Demarcus Lawrence plays like he did against the Giants, the Broncos passing offense will be non-existent.

On the flip side of that, La’el Collins most likely will draw his toughest assignment of his career, blocking Von Miller. Miller has made tackles look silly his entire career, and for Collins, this will be just his second regular-season start at right tackle.

If there is a positive thing working for Collins it’s that he handled Jason Pierre-Paul very well last weekend, however, if Miller has success against Collins, the Cowboys offense will be in for a long day.

Cowboys Injury Concerns

All things considered, the Cowboys are pretty healthy right now. According to Cowboys beat reporter, David Helman, the only Cowboy players who missed practice were Terrance Williams, Orlando Scandrick and Anthony Hitchens.

Scandrick broke his hand against the Giants and Jason Garrett has said that he might be able to play. However, if I were to guess, I’d say that Scandrick is out of the game. Along with Anthony Hitchens.

My guess for the seven players who are inactive this week against Denver would be Scandrick, Hitchens, Jonathan Cooper, Noah Brown, Bene Benwikere, Cooper Rush and Jayrone Elliott.

Crazy Prediction And Score Prediction

Dallas will need another big performance from their defense on Sunday if they wish to beat the Broncos, it will be a game similar to the Giants game in my opinion. A low scoring affair that I believe the Cowboys will end up winning 23-17.

My crazy prediction for Sunday’s game is that Ezekiel Elliott will rush for over 150 yards and will score three touchdowns. This also means that the Cowboys will get a safety to get the score to 23. The safety will come on a blocked punt that the Broncos recover in their own end zone.
