The Buffalo Bills keep on delivering to their fans! Minutes before the trade deadline, the Bills pulled off a trade with the Carolina Panthers to acquire star wideout Kelvin Benjamin. The Bills will send the Panthers a third and seventh 2018 draft picks. This is an excellent pickup for Buffalo, seeing how as they need help at the wide receiver position. My favorite part of the trade is that they didn’t give up a first or second round draft pick for next year.

Kelvin Benjamin will now play under Sean McDermott, who was the defensive coordinator for the Panthers the last couple of years.

Currently, Benjamin has 32 catches for 475 yards and 2 touchdowns this season. He will now come to a Bills team that needs a true number one receiver and he can definitely make an impact if he stays healthy. With the Bills already at 5-2 on the season, this is a great pickup for this squad that is trying to break their 17 year long playoff drought.

Benjamin is a dynamic receiver who is a threat down the field and can serve as an excellent red zone receiver. He’ll go with Jordan Matthews and Andre Holmes, both who have contributed to the passing game the most, other than Charles Clay who is recovering from a knee injury.

Buffalo already has their running game set up with LeSean McCoy and Mike Tolbert, now their passing game just took a major boost. Tyrod Taylor has his number one receiver, Matthews and Holmes should continue to do their part and the running game is back on track. This Bills team, who already has a great defense now upgraded their offense.

Watch out, the Bills are coming and they aren’t showing signs of stopping.
