Dallas is coming off of an impressive 28-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cowboys hype train is officially back on track.

At 5-3, Dallas has reeled off three straight wins since their 2-3 start. Chiefs’ All-Pro linebacker Tamba Hali is the latest to get on board after seeing the Cowboys up close and personal. Speaking to the Dallas Morning News, Hali had the following to say.

“I think that’s the best team in the league,” Hali said of the COwboys.  “Up front, they’re sound. They’ve got wideouts, they don’t need to use them. Their running back, he does well. And the quarterback doesn’t make little mistakes.”

It’s surprising to hear Hali make such a bold statement about a 5-3 football team, especially since there’s an 8-1 Eagles team within the same division.

However, the Chiefs did give Philadelphia their only loss of the year in Week 2, so that should give Hali a better perspective than most analysts. The Cowboys came into the season with a great deal of hype after last season’s 13-3 record as the top team in the NFC.

After a slow start, the team is finding their groove both offensively and defensively. Next up for the Cowboys, it’s the 4-4 Atlanta Falcons, who need a win in the worst way. Check out our pregame coverage of this weekend’s matchup as we get closer to gameday.
