Despite rest during the bye week, the New England Patriots are still dealing with injuries.

The Patriots comeback Sunday night, after having time to rest on their bye but are still not completely healthy. Traveling to Denver, the Pats will play under the primetime lights for Sunday Night Football. Denver has had an up and down season, but their defense is still a force that head coach Bill Belichick can not overlook.

One of quarterback Tom Brady’s check down wide receivers, Chris Hogan did not practice this week with a shoulder injury. Hogan and Danny Amendola have been splitting time filling in for Julien Edelman who went out early in the season and has been on injured reserve.

Amendola who was injured earlier in the season as well, was limited this week in practice from a knee injury. Amendola should play during the match on Sunday.

Other players who did not practice: defensive lineman Malcom Brown (Ankle) and offensive lineman Marcus Cannon (Ankle).

Cornerback Stephon Gilmore was limited in practice with a concussion designation as well as a ankle injury. Cornerback Johnson Bademosi was a decent replacement during the Patriots last game, Gilmore is looking to make a comeback against Denver.
Other players who were limited in practice: defensive end Cassius Marsh (Shoulder) and defensive back Eric Rowe (Groin).

While the Patriots have a few key players on the injury report this week, Denver’s list is considerably longer.
Running back Jamaal Charles missed practice on Wednesday, listed as not injury related, he was a full participant in Thursday’s practice. Other running back in Denver’s committee, C.J. Anderson, is dealing with an ankle injury as well as illness. He was limited in practice on Wednesday, but did not practice on Thursday. Defensive end Derek Wolfe is dealing with a neck injury that held him out of practice on Thursday.

Players who were limited in practice on Thursday: wide receiver Bennie Fowler (Ankle), guard Ron Leary (Elbow), center Matt Paradis (Back), wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (Hamstring), linebacker Todd Davis (Ankle), tackle Donald Stephenson (Calf).

Players listed on the report who practiced in full on Thursday: nose tackle Domata Peko Sr. (NIR), wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (Ankle), safety Darian Stewart (Thigh), wide receiver Cody Latimer (Knee), linebacker Brandon Marshall (Shoulder), linebacker Shane Ray (Wrist).
