The New York Giants can’t stop spending money this offseason and it’s sure fun to watch.

After inking free agent cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to a five-year, $39 million deal, the G-Men went out and got themselves a return man in the form of former Denver Bronco Trindon Holliday on a one-year deal, according to ESPN.

Officially listed as a wide receiver, the 5’ 5” Holliday is known throughout the NFL as being one of the most dangerous kick returners in the NFL. Holliday racked up 1,046 yards and two scores last season as a returner for Denver, but the 27-year-old has also fumbled the ball 10 times over the last two seasons.

New York has severely lacked a solid kick returner for quite some time. One could even say Holliday has the potential to be one of the best kick returners the Giants have ever had.

The Giants ranked 17th in kickoff return yardage in 2013 with an average of 21.2 yards per return, which ranked No. 27 in the league. As for punt return yardage, the Giants ranked No. 22 in the NFL in total yards and 26th in yards per punt return.

Welcome home, Trindon.
