Week 6 featured a lot of great performances, on both sides of the ball. But a few players stood out above the rest.
Here are this week’s Houston Texans Game Balls, given out each week for the best offensive and defensive performances in the NFL, as selected by cover32′s managing editors:
GAME BALL – OFFENSE
Arian Foster – In a 38-13 loss to the Rams, Arian Foster stood out for the second week in a row. Foster finished Sunday’s game with 20 carries for 141 yards to go along with another 57 yards on four receptions. The Texans finished with 420 yards of offense, meaning Foster accounted for almost half of it.
GAME BALL – DEFENSE
Brooks Reed – In a game where the Texans struggled to get off the field defensively, Brooks stood out. Reed finished the game with a team high five tackles, four of them solo. Reed was also one of the only guys who got the Sam Bradford, it didn’t result in a sack, but he was credited with two quarterback hurries.
