Last year the Minnesota Vikings won just five games and finished in the cellar of their division. That makes them one of the worst NFL teams in the grand scheme of things, but what if we determined how good a team is by something other than wins and losses?

For example, what if we made it about how much a team’s real dollar value is?

Bad news. If we go based on the money then the Vikings are still pretty bad.

According to an article by Mike Ozanian in Forbes magazine, the team is worth a total of $1.15 billion, which is a lot of money, but only makes the Vikings the 20th most valuable franchsie in the league. The good news is that they brought in $250 million in revenue last year and their new stadium should bump that number up considerably once it opens.

Coming in at the top of the list were the Dallas Cowboys ($3.2 billion), the New England Patriots ($2.6 billion), and the Washington Redskins ($2.4 billion.)
